Emile was a young man who was deemed mentally retarded and placed in Special Education until his 10th grade year.

Follow Emile in this biography as he battles poverty, deals with the loss of his closest love ones, survives the projects and a shotgun wound, and makes something out of himself.

MadAtGod

Upon my arrival, I found a note hanging from the door. The note stated, “Mom had a stroke in church. They had to Life Flight her to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.” Not knowing what to expect,
my anxiety level shot up. I jumped into my car and was mad at God for allowing this to happen to my wife in his house. She was a pillar of the church, a trustee, a church clerk/secretary, the director of music, and the
director of the Christmas cantata, not to mention a pillar in the community and a loving wife and mother. I screamed at God and said, “I am going to hold you to your promise that you would never leave us or forsake us!”

When a loved one’s health comes under attack, this causes major issues with one’s faith, family, clergy, believers, medical community, health care community, and financial community. I was Mad at God. Have
you ever been mad at God?
